She was a member of the Alpha Chi Honors Society, PsiChi Psychology Honors Society, and the Sigma Alpha Pi Fraternity. She is highly organized with meticulous attention to detail. She has an exceptional work ethic, and goes above and beyond on everything undertaken, thoroughly and with scrupulous precision.

Megan Ulmann has closed hundreds of SBA loans since 2007. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2006. During her time at SMU, she was an articles editor for the International Review, a member of Phi Delta Phi legal honor society, graduated on the Dean's List, and was declared Best-In-Group Advocate in the 2004 Jackson Walker Moot Court Competition. Liza started working with Mr. Cook in 1996 after a 15-year career as an occupational therapist. It was quite a change. However, she brought many skills to the firm, designing and implementing systems to free up attorney time allowing the firm to increase the number of closings it could handle simultaneously. She oversees communication, scheduling, data storage, and submission of loan packages for SBA review and funding approval. She brings a friendly helpfulness to all she works with. Many borrowers call her years after their closing for assistance because they remember her willingness to help them.
